A music video database. IMDB for music videos.

I've always been a huge fan of music videos and it has often seemed like they don't get a lot of attention. To me, they are an interesting mix of cultural touchstone, experimental sandbox, and promotional piece.

I noticed that there wasn't really a standard place to get information about a music video the way you got information about movies with IMDB. In late 2010 I started writing the basic outline of the site, called "FilmedInsert" from an old term for music videos.

Several months later the project is still a work in progress and we are still adding music videos to figure out the optimial database structure and content. We are, however, taking beta signups and continuing to refine things before deploying the tools to open the database up to wider user base.
